Limoges porcelain white satin milky organic ring, chunky irregular handmade shape

White porcelain (Limoges) handmade organic ring, decorated using a glossy milky white glaze and fired at 1300°.

I have been heavily inspired by sea-washed stones, my interest for bones and bones structure, rocks and crystals. This design is inspired also by the flow of bows and soft fabric ribbons.
Made with love and care, this ring is made to last since the high temperature has completely vitrified the ceramic body and it's therefore more resistent and durable.
The porcelain has been attached very securely onto a raw brass ring base (inside diameter: 1,9 cm), using a UV resin mixed with ceramic superglue.

The touch of porcelain is something really magical and I find the natural material addicting to wear ♥

☁️ Each piece is handmade and one of a kind so it might have small variations and imperfections. The glaze is applied by hand so it can have small spots or other little marks that are peculiar in the craftmanship work, please enjoy the handmade quality!
